Just had my first red dot arrive it's a Millet 1x20. Link here... https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0002IN0WU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

But when I put in the battery I am greeted by this...
this can't be right, right?!


Man the image is huge but I can't resize it!! I'm on my wife's iPad. Image

Can't say it's defective as the size of the dot is not adjustable although you can adjust the bright level to make it look smaller... some models have different styles of the dot you can choose, but the ordinary simple dot looks best to me, and the size is that large which can cover the bullseye of the target in 10 yard range...

I have a red dot that is not suitable in low light conditions even on the lowest setting.. Like yours the dot is very large and blurry. Once outside on a normal day it's small and sharp.

Could be reflection back on the glass. Shine it outside in the light and see if its better?
