Hello y'all,

I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for components to make using a 3D printer. I have some knowledge when it comes to CAD design and wouldn't mind trying my hand at some modeling. If you would like to see if these components work I wouldn't mind sending them off and getting feedback.

Thank y'all for your time and I look forward to any suggestions or requests!

Thomas

I've printed several pieces for my airguns. Mostly rails but I have also made an adjustable check riser for my 1077 and a muzzle break.

Interesting, I am wondering how much I can get away with using 3D printed parts. My goal once I find more time is to make a 3D printed rifle but that is far in the works.

Thomas, what is called a FT hamster is the hand rest, usually adjustable, underneath the rifle, just in front of the trigger:

I see! If I could find out how it is mounted and get more angles of the image I could try to make one!

It mounts onto the barrel I assume? I just need to get my hands on a 2240 (shouldn't be hard) and I will try to make these!

That would be bloody difficult! Not sure how well the 3D printed polymer would withstand constant adjustment.

Look at the first one on top page, there's a better view, no measurement though:

I have to agree that a hamster is not an ideal part for 3d printing. You will want rigidity better suited for aluminum.

Do you know how these mount? I have a basic idea of how it works but I need to see how it attaches.

Perhaps some components could be made out of plastic and others aluminum, I have an okay drill press so maybe it could work!
