I'm not a woodworker so I have no idea how to repair a crack on both sides of the gun stock.Had the gun five years now and just discovered the cracks this season.....is it repairable or should I order another stock?......IF they have one(Nitro Venom).....

Should be able to remove the buttplate, pry on the bottom, inject glue, clamp it and wipe off the excess. Let dry.

I am a woodworker and I don’t think I would worry about the crack. If it’s bothering you, wedge it open a hair, pack in some outdoor glue on one side, use your shop vac to suck it through from the other side (the more coverage the better), then pack more glue in. Clamp it for 24 hrs and you’re good to go.

That type of crack comes from the stock being dropped on the toe. It is not a serious problem and is easily repaired, as noted by SGilchrist & leadslinger.

That crack happened along the grain, just the cut of the stock. Could be a drop, could be just a change in moisture levels. Either way it will show... If you just want it secure, glue (epoxy is best) in the crack. If you want it all looking the same, it's more work. Sanding, perhaps stripping and refinishing.
It's not ugly, if it's a gun you use... I would just use it.

I think I'll do the easier way and just carefully and cleanly apply some glue.I DO shoot year round....-10 degrees in winter and sometimes in the summer I get caught in a drizzle.....maybe that's what happened over the years.....thanks all......
