Nice find! I have one and love it. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Mine loves RWS Basics and Hobbys equally.

Fun. Unfortunate that the older popular models are no longer available.

Received it on Wednesday so haven't shot it a lot yet....so far I like it.

By chance I found out how to set the trigger (was not mentioned in the owner manual) when I was looking online for tuning tips. When I set the trigger I get a nice no creep 1lb 2oz pull reading.

The 53M joins my other Baikals.

top to bottom rifles
Baikal MP-512P .177 break barrel spring
Baikal MP-651K .177 Carbine CO2
left to right pistols
Baikal MP-655K .177 CO2 X2
Baikal MP-651K .177 CO2
Baikal MP-53M .177 break barrel spring
Baikal MP-46M .177 pneumatic
