I would like those of you to list the under $100 air pistols/rifles which surprised you with their accuracy and long life. No need to comment on construction materials or on the ones which quickly became paper weights- just their performance in terms of good accuracy at a reasonable distance. I will start with - Umarex M&P 45 pellet pistol , Umarex Brodax bb revolver , Umarex NXG APX490 pellet rifle and Crosman 760 pumpmaster.

The King - The P17; if you get a good one it will last a long time - if you get a bad one; the O-Rings are easy to replace and you now have a good one...

Even after a couple adjustment, I'll say my P17.

I got my 953 for $69.95 and it's very accurate with the right pellet. I'll just have to pick up a p17 and see what all the fuss is about.

I will also have to vote for the Daisy 953 and the Beeman P17 for the best low budget airguns.

I haven't much recent experience with sub C-note rifles, but along with the P-17, the Crosman 2240 is a worthy contender...

The 1322 with stock kit, was $89 from Peavey mart, no longer but still under $100 presently from Canada shooting supply with their 10% off sale. IV shot 3 of these with 10" barrels and 2 with 14.5". Great accuracy out to 40 yards!

Yeah~ 13xx and 2240 classic series are very accurate too!

Why I picked P17 is its accuracy just surprised me. I don't think this kind of accuracy will exist in such a cheap pistol as for the shorter barrel, pistols won't be as accurate as the other gun with longer barrel (we need to consider the price tag first), and the P17 is sooo cheap at the same time ....

Under $100 and accurate:

Beeman P17 - $50
Daisy 880 - $45 USd
Crosman Phantom - $99.95 when on sale at Cabelas
Chinese B2 & B3 under-lever rifles - getting more difficult to find but they shoot well
Canadian Hunter D18 - I might know a dealer who has one left
