Hi, I have Crosman 2040
Recently I have a leak between the Co2 tank and the valve. In my country (greetings from Poland) parts of this mofel are almost unachievable.

Do you know the dimension of this gasket and the material it is made of?
Typical O-rings made of NBR and Viton do not work: /

Hi, you should be able to get a replacement from Ebay.

Just search for Crosman 2240 valve face seal. They're orange.

Thanks, the problem is that many sellers do not offer shipments abroad or after summing up all costs it is very expensive.
I think I could make such a gasket, but I do not know what kind of material it is. Normal rubber working with Co2 quickly starts to crack and crumble;)

Hi,
If you cannot get o rings for your air pistol, you can try putting plumbers tape around the c02 cartridge before putting it in to make a good seal - if it is a leak seal. If the problem is a valve seal, your last remedy is to disassemble the valve (take note how you take it apart) buy a flexible adhesive and glue around the seal where it sits. Let it dry, assemble and do a leak test. If the valve still leaks, put more adhesive until it is completely sealed. I just did this to my air pistol (SP2022) and it worked.
