Winter time is definitely basement shooting time. Nearly every day. However when it’s sunny and above zero, I shoot in my shooting shed out to 50 yds, depending on wind.

Shot about 60 pellets/BB's at a couple soda cans tonight with my son, non rested. It was fun....

Going to revive my interest with a new to me co2 rifle.

I love the soda can pull ring tab rivet. Still a challenging target, even at 12 paces off-hand. Will shoot the rest of the soda can with what ever C/O-2 pistol is my flavour of the month.

Some weeks, I'm lucky to shoot indoors once. Other weeks, 2 or 3 nights for an hour or 2.

I get endorphinal release from the indoor shoots, every time. Wonder how much research has really been done on that fact of life...

Days you don't shoot perhaps try:

Eat hot peppers. Cayenne peppers, jalapeno peppers, banana peppers, and other hot peppers contain capsaicin, which releases endorphins.[2] Try eating a piece of raw pepper. When the initial fiery pain subsides, you should feel euphoria. If you don't want to have to deal with the pain to reap the pleasure of capsaicin, sprinkle a little cayenne pepper on your food for a milder boost in mood.

not a basement -- but my little storage ( and ladies smoking lounge -- yuk.) garage -- about 19 feet deep . in winter while I,m laid off I probably shoot every other day. since the co2 guns are put away I use my beeman p17 a lot. and I just bought this little pistol crossbow toy to play with which actually turned out to be a lot of fun. I made a big target box stuffed with plastic bags.

Couldn't find any reactive indoor pellet targets at the local Walmart, so came up with this for me...

Previously worn earplugs, shot semi rested at 10m

Princess auto sells different sizes of cowbells. I bought these two small ones recently but haven't had time or material to get them set up for shooting. I need to make a paddle for them.

Im putting a wood stove in the garage and a shooting window out back. So Ill be able to shoot 10m to 70m.

I don't really like seeing my breath in the basement.

How often? Not often enough recently - I had a really bad cataract in my right eye so had to take some time off shooting rifles but they fixed everything Friday before last and I finally got a chance to get back at it yesterday. My basement is a crawlspace so it only has about four feet of headroom (good thing I like to shoot sitting!) but it's cool in the summer and warm in the winter. A good thing too as I live in a suburb so outdoor shooting is problematical:-)

Latest target.

Fender washer maybe 1.5" across tied up with some paracord.

Bullseye is if I shoot the earplug out of the center.

If I hit the washer, makes a satisfying ping. Spent ammo stays in the catch box

I need to find some scrap tubing and tack weld it to the back and thread the paracord through that. Target doesn't always come back to resting position Image

I ordered 8 of each size of these plates. Changed over a couple spinner pellet traps/ added a lower level with these. Mounted one on top of cowbell to shoot. Thick metal as they do not even dent from heavy pellet guns. Then I put on 3/4 inch sticker dots on them so I know where I hit. CHEERS!

The washer and earplug combination is brilliant! I'm going to make something along those lines myself now.
