Ok i machined a tapered sleeve bored out to accept the barrel ...then split it in half...
Using 4mm screws i was able to mount the barrel in the taper and bore out the .177 steel liner ...machined down a length of Walther .22 barrel rifled blank to fit , with slight void for the cocking knob.
Recess at breech re- applied for 9 mm O ring.....Barrel held with grubscrew dogpoint from below breech...
Went for same internals as my 497 fps .177 version but hugely suprised that the transfer port and compression ratio liked the bigger caliber...
Running JSB EXact .22 shes running 395 to 403 fps fps ....accuracy is very good....and trajectory flat out to 12 yards or so ...3/4" to 1 inch gps routine with 2 handed grip at this range ...great rat cannon.
