I've seen a couple of pic's of carbon fiber tube (the tube with the fancy cross/hatch pattern) on various AG forums (damn - can't find them now  ).

Does anybody have a Canadian source for this stuff. I have this obsessive/compulsive need to make a moderator out of this material... and maybe some barrel shrouds :D

Any help greatly appreciated :D

First productive response gets a cheque for $1000.00 in the mail. Of course, the cheque will be no good  .......but still........... :D

Cheers - Gus :D

Didn't George do a muzzlebrake made with carbon fiber (or a look-alike)?

Gus, I got mine from Composite Resources.
Not sure of the conversion but 1" 0.054 wall wound fiber was $8us/ft in a 6ft piece. Got it in about 4weeks.
