soon enough we will see a crack down! Ive been talking with customs and they were telling me tha anything that looks like something highly illegal ( replica) and is not noticably indicated ( painted diff colour) will eventually be banned. Not saying I agree! Just thank those lil punks wo are pulling airguns on people, and doing roberies etc. Howmuch truth there was to the conversation we had, I couldnlt tell you. But with canadas historty with firearms, it wuld surprise me.

I saw a video of the gang kids in Toronto trying to look tough showing off their handguns. The video was blurry and the guns I could recognize could easily have been the airgun versions.

A guy from the area commented on the video, that yes in the area there were a lot of guns but the only time he knows of anyone who got shot it was years ago and he was shot by a cop. So maybe they are bluffing with airguns.

I think in a weird way it's good. Better people bluffing with airguns and keeping their distance than actually getting into it. Much better if they're holding up a store with an airgun than a knife, in my opinion.

Maybe people perpetrating crimes with airguns when caught should be shot with said airgun  Hey it's non lethal... :D

You can’t buy a single airgun for everything. Golfers use many different clubs, airgunners need more than one gun

Whether it be an AG or plastic replica, if used for a criminal act such as robbery. It would be treated by the law as if you had used a real firearm and would be charged as such.

If it looks like gun, but truely isn`t but has drawn attention to the general public, the government will jump all over gun owners. Real or Not! This will effect ALL of us, who enjoy the world plinking, shootng etc.

Its a play nice, or don`t play at all world anymore. And I like to play!

As someone said before, it is really safer for the shopkeeper to be bluffed by a fake gun than it is to be not bluffed by a knife.

With the training I have had I could rob a store with a blunt pair of plastic scissors if I really wanted to .......

AND I KNEW THAT THE SHOPKEEPER WAS BOTH UNARMED AND NOT REALLY LEGALLY PERMITTED TO DEFEND HIMSELF.....

Unfortunately political ideologies are dogmatic and doctrinaire.

We must be as active, energetic, and motivated as the Liberals who want to baby-proof Canada if we are to have any hope of fending this off.

Hey...that just gave me a great idea....I will design a combat grade of blunt plastic scissors and Dragon's Den the design to Cold Steel.......

Don't worry until the Liberals are elected...it is only them and the CBC who are actually involved in this crusade.
