To my knowledge this gun has never been lubed. I am a newbie and havn't got a clue as to where you put what!!! any help would be greatly appreciated.

why do you want to lube it spring guns need very little lube

Hello.....the only place to lub most springs is the pivot points. Don't worry about "chamber lub" as its not a problem with todays piston seals. Older units may require a DROP... once in a long while.......Many Thanks KEN.

the old 618 came in 2 different ways, one with a synthic seal the other wiht a leather seal. and if your is the one with the leather seal then it does need to be lube, even some of the new chinese stuff has leather seals and needs to be lube from time to time as well .

Thanks for the input, my reasoning was I just didn't want to damage it due to lack of maintenance. It is over 35 yrs old although it probably has only been fired 150 to 200 times . I still have half a tin of the originl bulldog pellets.
