Well the final mod to my lil Beeman is almost complete. Bought flip up scope covers (absolute joy!) and am now putting a sling on it. I walk around with this thing in the woods anywheres from 4 to 10 hours at a stretch so a sling is gonna be great.

I'm wondering if my plan will work for attaching it so jump in and let me know if anything seems goofy to you.

I bought the Mossy Oak Rifle Sling Mounting Kit that comes with the screws and the so forth but it also comes with a nut and bolt. My plan is to drill the proper hole in the butt and epoxy and screw in that one as normal but for the front one I was planning on using the nut and bold part and have it off to the side and cutting off any excess bold and lock tighting it down or something. Does this sound proper?

What do you do to attach sling mounts for your break barrel? Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Not as cheap as a bolt but this method keeps the sling away from the break action.
They are available for different barrel diameters. Mine fastened very tight, hasn't moved.

I got mine from Amazon.ca , seller was Archer Full Throttle International and make is Bushnell. I remember doing research of different models for the correct diameter of my barrel. Once I had the model number I searched for someone who sold it (Canada).

When I plan to sling my hw98, I'm going get the clamp. Measure the barrel and get the right size! Looks cool too! Thats how I sling'd my hw97, and has failed me yet. I cant imagine drilling a hole in the front stock :?
