Be warned that this may not be the real deal. I bought the same here at my local Honda dealership just to return it some time later, after members here pointed out it isn't the same (although the Honda parts guy insisted it was - till I had him show me the percentage of molly and he came back empty handed).

After searching for resolution to your question I have found nothing definite stated that this is not the same product of which the moly content ranges from 55-75% and its in a silicone base carrier.

You didn't look hard enough...its lanolin based....go ahead and use it…...you'd be the first....

Sorry Mycrosman I think your wrong however even if it were so Lanolin is no more combustible than most other carriers. From what I have found the Honda product is made by Dow Corning and here is their MSDS

But I could be wrong, and I guess with all the doubt please disregard my original post about the availability of Honda m77.

What's wrong with your original post? Its great that m 77 is readily available.I read that it has a partial base of lanolin....apparently its written on the back of the tube itself.Nothing to be wrong or right about....just mentioning what I read online and passing on the info.....I guess someone(maybe myself) has to lube up a pal rated gun and give it a go. :D

So I was in hully gully again and checked out those tubes of moly and the only thing it says on the tube as far as content is "moly paste". No mention of lanolin, the same with the Suzuki paste.

I hope this helps you sleep better at night.....can't say I've been pondering the validity of lanolin in moly lately....hmmmmm.....lanolin and mineral oil...nah....that won't detonate

According to the MSDS link for Dow Corning m77 I posted, the second most prevalent chemical is mentioned in this link FYI

Apparently M77 is MUCH more slippery than M60 so I imagine it would be great in non dieseling springers.…...still don't think I'd use it in a pal rated gun though.
