Hello fellow plinkers,

Haven't been here for a while now. Been really busy with work, but I finally had a chance to shoot my Trail NP AW indoor this weekend. I had mounted a Hawke Sport HD IR 4-12x50 AO and got it zeroed at 35 feet (my max indoor range). Quite happy with the accuracy of this gun now and I was able to hit dime size consistently.

I have posted some pictures on Photobucket, please feel free to take a look.

and I also posted a youtube video shooting at 35feet.

Enjoy! and thanks for viewing.

I haven't done enough shooting with my Benjamin AW. It was one of my first air rifles.
Have you considered a bipod for yours? I put a weaver rail on the bottom of mine for a bipod/laser/flashlight.

Yes, I agree with you about the music being offensive. I was trying to put up the video quickly and randomly picked a song that I thought was okay(at that moment) for the plinking to match the mood. Most of the songs I have in my music library are either too slow or nothing upbeat. Again, I apologize if I have offended anyone.

Any suggestion to the proper music type for this video?

Hi Sureshot,

I have thought about a bipod, but I have read that this rifle is so hold sensitive that only an artillery hold is best for this rifle.

I thought I had posted a "How to" on how to add a weaver rail under my air rifle but I can't find it.

Here's what I did.

and after you attach a weaver rail mounted bipod

I don't think the NP airguns are that sensitive to the hold as much as springers.

thanks for sharing Sureshot. Have you upgrade your trigger yet?

I have made a second video showing the accuracy of this rifle, well, as best as I could shoot it. I will post a link once it is ready. cheers.

ps, no offensive music this time, lol

No not yet. The next time I place an order with Eric I will be sure to include the GTX Gen II trigger;

I've heard that it's a "must have" mod.

the new trigger will definitely make your grouping tighter because your shots will be more consistence and control, at least for me anyway. with the new trigger, you will be able to time your shot knowing when the "break" is every time you pull it.

good luck with it, you wouldn't be disappointed. I got lucky when I bought the rifle used ($200) with the trigger already upgraded.

cheers

hi Peter, thanks for sharing your videos. good shooting! I am thinking of ordering the PAL piston for this rifle and get the extra power to shoot longer distance.

had a music copyright restriction to my last shooting video, so I had to reload with a different background song.

here it is again, please disregard the last posting video.

Target shooting 3: CD edge attempts with my Trail NP AW .22.
