Hi folks,

Well as the title says "hi from Scotland".

So, a little about me... I'm 40 years old and have shot airguns since I bought my first one at 19 (it was a Webley Vulcan in .22). I joined a club (Dunfermline Field Target club) and actually got not to bad.

Gave up shooting for a while as I set up my buisness and got back into it last year. I do Field target, hunter field target and I hunt. I have got a few pistols too and am going to try that.

So, it you want to know more... just ask

David

OK, so you took the bait and asked for more about me :D

I live in a place called Rosyth, I have to admit... there isn't much here, well, there is whats left of the Naval base. Rosyth is about 20 miles north of Edinburgh on the other side of the Firth or Forth, where the Forth bridges are (about 3 minutes from my house, if the traffic's ok).

I'm a photographer, mostly I freelance for some papers and magazines but also do weddings and anything else that someone wants a picture of. This week has seen me photographing cars.

I don't really get much time for hobbies as I work way to many hours per day but I love my guns, and fishing, also enjoy driving.

Andy, I think you mean teuchters :D, much better than being a sasanach

Mike, your tune up sounds like fun, they don't build cars like that now.

I will be visiting Toronto in just over a week for 6 days... looking forward to it, it's been 7 years since I was there last.

OK, so enough about me for now, anything else you want to know... just ask

David

If you get home sick when you're here, let me know. I know the few places in Toronto to get a black puddin' or haggis supper... :tonqe:

It's true aye. The best I've found is The Highlander Restaurant, east side of Pharmacy Ave just north of St. Clair Ave. Pretty close approximation to the Glasgie' chippies I would stagger into after a night out pubbing (with the exception of someone getting the boots on the sidewalk out front!). They even have Irn Bru! No one doin' the Mars bar thing here...yet. :(

I guess with there being so many Scots out there, it makes sense. I think I must be the only Scot that really can't stand Irn Bru... horrid stuff.....

At least I know when I'm there I will be able to eat

Really looking forward to getting there (just over a week to go :D )
