It was nice to see familiar faces today at the Grand Prix....
I had this overwhelming urge to rush home and put on the Camo's ...:lol:


Here are a couple of pics at the Grand Prix of the CAFTA info table.... 8)
In the first pic that fellow way off in the background looks familiar???...

Good looking table, if there's anything that will grab people's attention it's Keyrigger's Steyrs and hand-painted targets!
How much "traffic flow" did the table attract?

There was a steady stream of interested individuals at the table. Keyrigger will man the table tomorrow morning as well.

now that's alot of shooting lanes.. How many lanes were there in total? Did Tim shoot rifle also?

Must have been in 60-70 lanes rvd ... In the first video Canshooter posted, it was Tim doing the pistol shooting....I don't think Tim or Dennis shot rifles???...

Oh I know it was Tim shooting pistol, that's why I asked if he shot rifle too..

60-70 lanes thats killer..

They have 78 lanes in total, 39 on each side with the officials and others talking and walking behind you as you shoot. Can be somewhat distracting. We shot a 60 shot match at 8:00 AM and then another 60 at 12:30. With warm up shots, probably about 150-160 shots. Neither one of us shot very well, but we had fun and supported a real important shooting event in Canada.

Dennis and I are both thinking of shooting rifle next year instead of pistol. Dennis is a fairly good pistol shooter but pistol shooting has never been something I do much of. The rifle shooting would a have a more direct cross over effect for FT shooting. Trigger control is very important for pistol and that helps, but rifle is what I really like shooting anyway. We have offhand targets at all our matches now, so that skill is becoming more important.

I already have my AA MPR set up for 10M shooting, so I will try to practice with it as often as I can.

I hope more people from the forum will make the trip and bring a gun, rifle or pistol, and join in the fun next year.
