Some of the guys stayed handy to the Port Colborne Clubhouse last Saturday night between the two days of the CAFTA National match, & before the sun set, another member tested his new-(sale-priced)- GAMO brand, - Moving-Target system.
Lemme just say it was so fascinating for me that I helped set it up, & am glad that Canshooter missed his U-tube vid...... - ASK HIM ! ....
Several guys were on the sight-range line, but I caught a few good knock-downs by jgoodz, - thanks for letting me get a clip off at it with your 410, that was just a blast.

Here's my short clip for those of us who have never seen it in action.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umDAqNAnt-Q

I hope you give us a clearer & more detailed review of that later, but thanks again 4 sharing that fun. 8)

That does look like a fun target.. 8)
Should have left it setup overnight. That way, those of us who went home for showers could have taken a crack at it.... :P

Solid video, thanks for sharing.......I will post a video review when I get some free time, so far I love the thing, took about 50-60 15FPE shots @ 25 yards and is showing no signs of wear aside from some missing paint........

That looks pretty cool. Too bad shooting in my city limits is illegal. That would make for some fun evenings.

Canadian Tire?? (where is that gift card.) How much ? ? ?
Random speed setting .... WAY too much fun !
I would consider the advice of George, though, jgoodz & mount it on a base, with more shielding in front to protect all of those plastic bits. It seemed like the voice of experience at the time.

Have fun with that ..... .......... :drinkers:

I have one of these Gamo machines in my basement for winter shooting. Lotsa fun.
If you REALLY want a good challenge with a moving target, set up an empty apple juice can or even something smaller, fill it with sand, attach it to a rope from
a tree and swng it. Try to hit it from varying distances and different rates of swing. Much as I think I'm a decent shot, my native Canadian buddy has 2 daughters age 15 and 17 can both whack the can regularly from about 100ft, i.e about 50% of the time with a re-pistoned Phantom. I`m doing well to hit it about 25% of the time.

Hey Shakey, we actually used to do that too, when we were kids, we used to hang stale Hall'owe'en choklit bars on string & plink away at the swinging targets the same way. 8)
Small world, Eh ? ....... too 8) .

A candy bar? Way too tough. I was actually thinking of a 40gal oil drum as I age.

C'mon, you can't be THAT shakey, even at your age, (that I have NO clue of ...)

Usually it was a couple of those PLAIN milk-choklit "HERSHEY" jobs left-over from last Christmas that ended up as swingin' targets cuz they were the last of the few things in the pillowcase/bag after the Hallowed Eve. - Old Skool ! Those toffee "kisses" in their wax-paper wrappers may have lasted virtually FOREVER, but only swing 3 to 6 inches, & not for very long, like you were cocking your early DAISY BB gun & firing your patented Hip-Shot !

Oh, THOSE were the days. - 6 inches by 3 inches & little more than an 1/8th inch thick, they made great movin' targets across the Summer Yard, or Wintry Garage, ...... 'member ???

Ok Sniper, I agree, a moving-target FT match would be an air-gun ROMP, imagine a 60 shot FUDD-SHOOT with those rigs - lol along with ya there.
