The actual size of this target is 11 inches by 17 inches .

What a hoot !
It reminds me of something that is burned in my memory from way back when - a friend and I were out at the scout camp, and he had a .22 air rifle and actually took out a dragonfly in flight at the end of the dock (probably about 20 feet away because we were standing on the shore!)
As an aside it is safer and a lot more 'correct' as well !
I hope you have a blast with this poster and obviously the challenge!

I think Suprmatic had the best fly shot ever... He is also know as Len Joe.

Hahaha yes definately...

I shot a "warrior ant" (or whatever the bigger ones are called) off of a FT Target while warming up for a match, just left a little smear where the pellet hit :lol:

That target looks like fun, <500fpe- lots of variety and probably a great target for normal springers or offhand shooting with a PCP.

Gord and I have been shooting this one - 20 shots, from 10 to 20 yards, rest shooting.

It's dowloadable from targetz.com. I score it the same as the Bug-Buster Centre Fire Bench Rest fun target - 5 for a head - 3 splitters (body shot) - 1 for a wing, leg or antenna.

Long ago I just finished sighting in a .22 LR scoped rifle at 20 yards off a sandbag. Had a couple shots left in the clip when I noticed a fly had landed on the target. Nailed it, a 6 inch area on the target had a bunch of tiny red and black specs.

Just had a go with the Targetz flies. Was kind of fun, and harder than it looks - some of those flies took a few shots. Just for laughs I had a quick go with the pistol at the end. Turns out it's hard to shoot stuff you can't really see...

Yes - it's a scope target and even at 10 meters, the higher the power, the better.
