i guess this would run along the lines of a pcp shotgun

I have built over 20 airguns like that with barrels ranging in diameter from 1/4" to 3" and all of them work very well as shotguns (w/ use of a sabot). Check out the site http://www.spudtech.com/. I highly recommend joining the forum, there are many intelligent people there. I think you should definitely build an aircannon/shotgun.

theres a thing for the 2250 that makes it into a shotgun, 8bb's load and its reversible. ill show u .

what would happen if you put 8 bbs into a 2289

you would damage your rifling. its not worth the risk to shoot bbs.

the this he is talking about is a different barrel it is smooth bore and it doesnt suggest using it for anything other than target fun

i know what he is talking about, but jonny is asking if you can shoot bbs out a stock 2289 barrel. jonny the bb's would just roll out of the baarrel if they got past the transfer port. you can roll them up in paper towel and muzzle load them. i don't know the effects of this, but other members will.
