I know there is a break in period for most air gun,s especially springer,s. I'm not sure if it is supposed to happen gradually or all of a sudden. I never noticed with any of my other gun,s, but today I was shooting my trail np pistol in the basement with the usual 1/2" to 3/4" and sometimes 1" groups when all of a sudden I started getting 1/4' group,s consistently. Heres a pic of two 5 shot groups in a row. There were more but these two were the only ones where the pellet,s stuck together.I sure hope that wasn't just a fluke. The trail pistol,s have a bad rap for inaccuracy. Also a pic of the gun. I made a quickie spruce stock for it. I also replaced the front sight and cocking handle with a 10" barrel break I got from DrNick Great seller BTW.

That,s right. after that last group, the smaller one, I gently laid her down and decided to post these result,s. Tomorrow I'll see. Oh I forgot to mention the groups were at exactly 10 yds...Rested :oops:

I was doing some rested yesterday and managed a couple of stacks of three, but I could never keep it together for a five stack. Two stacks like yours would put quite the smile on my face. How does your stock attach to the pistol? Even your 'quickies' look great. I'm trying to psyche myself up to try my first stock for a 1377.

Nice grouping good stuff Joe, some days everything just lines up :D and then other days you question what your doing wrong :rolleyes: :wink: , I'm in the middle of converting a 1008 I'll post pic's when done :wink:

That was a puzzle for sure. What I did was attach a 3"dovetail riser to the gun then a 5 inch one piece scope mount to that. the part that stuck out the back, I made a dovetail piece from flat steel and drilled 2 counter sunk holes. Then screwed the stock to that, then drilled a hole for the scope stop and mounted them together on the riser. Easy to see if you can enlarge the picture.

Great idea! Keeps everything modular and reusable as well.
