made up some crude slugs for the big barrel, strapped it on a discovery with some valve mods, no way to measure weight of these but the speed was 430fps with stock hammer and spring setup on 1500psi. Quite loud, and fully pennetrated a 3/4 inch pine plank, I do believe theres more speed to be had with more work, but I am doubtfull I will persue this large an air rifle because of the ammo issue, that is unless some kind soul would like to build me a mould! :D

Sorry for the pics, I'm no photographer...no accuracy tests yet, need to mount the scope and try and make more ammo.

EverHopeful, I did make a mould, but it was a one cavity and not exactly perfect, what tools I have are limited and quite worn so making a multi cavity mould that's uniform is pretty near impossible, maybe someday I'll get some real tools :(

Make a swaging die...push in a round ball, give it a few whacks and push out the formed round. (I use a shaped delrin punch)

No figuring/guessing as to how much the mold will grow when at operating temp, or how much the lead will shrink when it cools from casting temp...

I as well, would love to see some pics of your setup for rifling. :)
