Gentlemen,
First sleep from a long work tour but still managed to fit the grips,
balance and fit the Scope and even cut a foam liner for the case.
Juggling first Day back stuff right now. Collecting some notes and a
parts list Right now will post as I get a chance over the weekend.

Edit: Holy Connectivity problems in the cave.
Doug said he would be a few hours on our pic's

Gonna spill the beans now..

After 100 or so Emails and a Dozen phone Calls a Dream and a plan has come together.
I wanted to build 2540 that was strong, tasteful, and I wanted it Custom enough that it
Didn't have AnY 2240 Parts. Mainly to Over-Engineer it to turn it into
a .300 Repeater Stainless PCP. so the parts began to build in my mind as a Custom Marauder Bigbore Pistol with Some Class

So the 5 Box's eventually came in from the south

Hardware:

* Don Cothran 13" Stainless Steel Pressure Tube With SS Retaining screws.(my 13" )
* Don Cothran's Stainless Steel " Powerhouse" Equalized Valve System (Bigbore).
* DC SS Fluted Hammer (fast)
* SS Springs 8#,12# &16#
* SS Rear Velocity Adjuster (medium)
*SS Rear Charger Handle ( like pin ball)
* SS thread Fill Cap with triple o-ring
*SS Fill Nipple
*SS Safety
*SS 2 Stage Trigger, Low friction, wide, polished blade.
* 1701p Target 2 Stage Trigger Frame
*Vintage RB Grips ZebraWood Grips (setup Silly Hand)
*BNM Custom Rear Bolt Weaver Breech w/. 10" Shroud
*8.5" .25 barrel (ordered a 10")
*2 x 9 shot .25 Marauder Magazines
*Centering Ring
*2 x 2250 barrel bands.
Millet MIL-DT00703 Tall Height Weaver Mounts
2-6 x32 PRO Hunter pistol Scope in Silver

Fit and Tune:
As Kim stated the pistol came to him in a box of bubble wrapped
Parts. 5 box's down to an organized pile. I Said Do What you Do! we get each other.
I Purchased a Nice Set of LH Zebra Wood (more like Tiger Wood)Grips from Him.
The Main Operation was A custom Transfer Port Solution for a CAnada safe
Multi caliber System. So a restricted port was Fabricated for both .25 and .30 cal.
I wasn't Back on the Rd. 1 hr and I was hearing the full breakdown.
Re done SS Saftey Knotch for Left hand use? Wow... For me??
All thread holes Chased for exact fit.
Tailor Thread Depths
Stronger Shroud Retaining Screws
Shroud Bleed Hole (hidden, Like Unicorns)
trigger over travel stop set , Second stage 4oz.
Addition Hold Down Screw For both Barrel and Breech to valve.
Kim's Custom Muzzle Brake ( I just gave a Length)
Clipped And Tested non pal/ rpal Spring.
Great work Kim!

Grips Fit, Scoped Balanced and Mounted and Zeroed...'twas my assignment.

Testing was Fun!
Zero and shooting test Will Be Tomorrow's Assignment

The Feel:

When you Pick up this pistol it feels like your picking up something substantial.
At 20 1/4" OAL w/. scope you tend to pick it up nose down with its muzzle buried in foam.
The DC25 Pistol Is 18 3/4" from Muzzle Brake Port to Rear Charging Handle.
Weight is just Shy of 4 lbs with scope and rings and a full 9 Shot Mag.
scope Balances out shrouded Barrel and Muzzle Tamer Quite well and feels Balance, relatively easy to aim because of the Brutish weight When slung out cross the arm.
.25 bolts cycles Like warm Butter as If there isn't a hammer or Spring
Linked to it, because it's not.
Low friction hammer weight is Increased by the
rear charging handle that sails with her to the Valve Stem.
No side loading. Hammer spring tension can be adjusted independenty
Without interferring with handle.
Scope is crisp and the brake does tame the flip right down,
nice angled Slots for the port exhaust.
So far it looks to cycle 2 mags on a 3K charge with no recordable deviation in accuracy.
A Quality .25 cal Repeating SS PCP Pistol with a practical Shot Count.
The ZebraWoods finish her off in way the that make my face smile.

Reaper

Ps. If someone has time to Post a few pics of My look for this Pistol Please PM me

Thanks Rick!
Yeah he has the ability to design and fabricate
Functioning design Solutions to any aspect
Of any Airgun Design I've owned.
But He will only take on a project that
Interests him personally.

Lucky we can have similar interests at times...

THanks TAzz!

After some brief spurts of Trigger time
And 20 x 3000 psi fills and 6 tins
it's time to share some
Basement 12.5m Shooting info.

15 shots (1 shot shy of 2 - .25 cal mags)
Tuned sub 500 spring on full.

JSB's shoot the most accurate so far
Daystate rangemaster 36gr. Shoot accurate
With good velocity concidering there weight
And of course hit the hardest. 1/2" elevation Drop @ 11.5m
While holding center between Those 2 pellets.

12 shot group @ 12.5m with Daystate 36gr.pictured....

31 gr. BArracudddda's also group well and hit hard
with acceptable velocity.

She's a real pleasure to shoot. You can really see what you shoot ;
But I'm willing to sacrifice shot count in pursuit of a 7-shot, .30 cal Repeater PCP Pistol.
Say with a 12" Rifled Barrel...
