Love the Colt grips; where did you get them?

I've always liked straight mainspring housing (pre 1926) Colts.
Very nice--looks like nice sharp checkering on the grip scales.
I used to get a kick out of shooting a .45 ACP at an 8" gong at 100 yards
Didn't always hit it but it was fun trying.

Funny, first thing I did with my 1991 was swap the flat mainspring housing for an arched one.

thats the beauty of 1911, easy to swap parts and match your own preferences, for me, flat mainspring housing+long beavertail look and feel way much better and ergonomic
