I had been looking at this little rifle for a while. I like BB guns and what's not to like about a real semi-auto rifle?
So I was looking at the QB that was on sale at Canadian Tire and what the heck, I gave a look at the other stuff they had available and what do I find?! My Mod.74!!! At 60$ you can't go wrong, so I ask the wifey to stop by CT on her way, she sends me a picture asking if she had bought the good thing even if I had sent her the description page from CT.
So I tell her that it was the exact thing I was looking for why was she asking... she didn't pay 60$ for it... she paid 45$ she didn't see a yellow on sale tag for it or anything and the item number is good on the receipt.
So now I'm wondering if I should go pick some more... they had 12 in stock (11 now).
And they had some new stuff, this pistol among other things... it's a bit pricey but seems like a nice P17 clone only a bit bigger:

I found mine in a farm/feed store marked down to $40 while on a road trip to Southern Ontario a few years ago. The little critter is a blast! Mine chronos at about 280-300 fps. Accuracy with a red dot is better than a 760 smoothbore or my daisy 880.
Did I mention 200+ shots per powerlet? Stock up on bbs, they disappear fast. That pfft-thwok on pop cans is really addictive.

Totally loved it! What a nice little rifle for the price.
I went thru the whole 200 BB's I put in with my 10 YO this afternoon, we proceeded to cut an empty soda can in half, my son was proud of himself.
And the wifey paid 39.99$ for it, not 45$. I'm thinking of getting a second one and accessorising it for a bit of a tactical look.
As much as I want a Weihrauch HW100 or AirArms S510 TDR I love these cheap, small BB rifles.
The money spent to fun ratio is pretty darn good!

hi guys. when I make targets out in my little 20ft. shooting gallery garage. i leave a daisy red ryder out there for testing them. i leave the more expensive and better guns in the house until i bring them out to use them. this looks like it would be better than the red ryder as a target tester. i may have to visit my local Canadian tire today.

For the price they're asking I don't think you can go wrong.

ya. it looks like it might be a good little target tester for the co2 months. I checked them out on you tube and saw that one guy painted parts of his brown so it looks like wood and it looked pretty good. I'll likely pick one up this week. thanks .

I saw that vid too! Not gonna open mine up, it's a very nice little plinker and since it's a Daisy it will probably last forever as long as I don't break the plastic stock.
