I was looking through google play for apps that could download data from my Shooting Chrony to my Android phone. I came across 2 that say they can do it, although I have not attempted to connect either to my Chrony or to use them yet. Has anyone had experience with either, or know of an app that would work? I was going to try to McGiver my Chrony through a USB to micro USB C converter into my Samsung S8. I may be dreaming. Anyhow, if anyone has done it please let me know how.

Here are the apps I found:

I thought about getting that. Guess it uses the 3.5mm audio jack on the Chrony F1

My data is still being taken by pen and paper into a hardbound notebook.
I don't have a printer for my chrony either, and likely will not get one.
The little 70's canon pocket calculator comes out for averages (when necessary) and mean spreads and that's about it...
I seem to like the way I'm doing this, and am in no hurry to digitize. Something about "hard" data in my hands that I don't have to "Plug In and Play" to....

X2 - probably a generational thing - LOL. I don't even have a smart phone, and refuse to participate on Facebook. Twitter etc.

My first attempt with those 2 apps were unsucessful. Apps said connected to USB and the lights on the USB adapter flash when I push buttons on the Chrony, but no data passed between the Chrony and the app. :( pencil and paper it is or back to laptop method.
