Actually it's a very nice buying recently as I thought myself won't buy new BB guns anymore due to its lack of accuracy... However, I like the look of this one so much and it's just have a very good price from PA as pomotion!

Over all, it's just a plain plastic cheap BB guns includes the carbine shell. And be careful of the sharp edges and flashes before you have them smoothed out with a fine file (I have my left hand scratched for more than 10mm long between the thumb and index finger while trying to take the gun our from the shell...)

Of course, if this gun is just bad, I won't bother to make a review for it... Actually it surprised me for some points~

First, very nicely built. Totally no plays I can find either with the XBG itself or plugged it into the shell to make it a carbine~

Adjustable rear sight (on the XBG)... although I don't think this is necessary for a BB gun and the adjustment is only for windage, it's some kind of bonus.

White dots on the sights, both the XBG and the carbine shell! Very nice and very easy to aim with them!

Rated 410fps. Very good power for a small size BB gun like it. And it looks not much exaggeration here as I shot it with my P3 which should be about 400fps, and the time for the BB reach the target just about the same (or a bit faster)

The most I like here is the 19 shots magazine. Although it's not the full size one with CO2 combined inside, but the design and the built quality just impressive!!

It's a thick metal box which looks more heavier than the gun itself ( ). A very good spring which you won't never ever hurt your nails anymore when pulling down the small plastic guide stick. And when you pull it down to the end of the track, it just lock up automatically. Then a super easy job for anyone to put BBs into the mag via the slightly bigger feeding hole...

After done, just push forward the end of the stick which extended out a little bit on the bottom of the mag in lock-up position to reset it! Never used such a friendly design on my BB guns, love it so much!! (Picture on the following post)

And.....shooting!! Accuracy as usual, BBs going a bit right and down, didn't adjust any sights just adapt to it easily. On the second mag, I shot much better than the first one. Maybe due to the output from the CO2 became stable, and I adapted to the sights. With the carbine shell, I think the grouping is about 2 inches someting on 5 yards (except the filiers, I think most of my shots hit the pop can I placed in front of my duct-seal back stopper). That's pretty good accuracy on a BB gun, right?

And the pistal is not very loud as my other BB guns. But with the carbine shell, and you placed your cheek on the foldable stock to aim, the sound and the virbation pass into your head directly make it much louder! The first some shots just scared me a bit...

Finally, I must give Princess-Auto a 5 stars rating on shipping!! 6$ shipping charge for a very nicely multi layer bubble wraps all over the box, then a black plastic wrap outside to cover the box again and super fast next day delivery just surprised me!!

Here is the guide stick reset "button" which extended out on the bottom of the mag... just push it forward and it will get back to work to feeding in the BBs for you when you are shooting~

Forgot to mention, the trigger pull is super long...but predictable. So it's not a bid trigger either~

I concur with YepYep. The XBG & Carbine kit is a nice combo airgun. Pistol & Carbine in one. Yes it is mostly plastic, but what would you expect for the price. It is a quality, entry level airgun all airgun users can enjoy. Designed for plinking & target shooting. Since the open sights on the Carbine are a bit low, you will want to put a red dot scope or pop up iron sights on the top rail.

And you can't beat Princess Auto's price. Got to love the buyers at PA for finding the best prices on airguns.

Get more stick mags. They are cheap and come in handy as you will be shooting a lot of BB's with one CO2. They also fit a number of other airguns. Also a Umarex speedloader is a good idea. The included attachment makes loading the mag a lot faster.

Also, not sure anyone has mentioned this before, but the XBG pistol is a copy of the Springfield XM(D) 3.8" model. Check it out:

https://www.springfield-armory.com/xdm-series/

And at 410 fps, it shoots a lot harder than the 270 fps of new blowback CO2 version.

I tried to fit my CP99 pellet gun into the carbine shell... this is my shortest gun in the house and looks similar shape to the XBG.... However it's a bit longer, just a very very little bit, maybe just 1cm longet, and can't fit!!

What a pity..... although I knew it might not fit.... [emoji38] thinking too much...

Only fits HK USP (airsoft and BB gun), S&W MP40 BB gun, Umarex XBG BB gun, Combat Zone Enforcer airsoft gun and Walther P99 DAO airsoft gun.

But may need different adaptor than the one for the XBG.

Don't know were you would get the adapters. Try Umarex USA.

Only the XBG is good enough for me now, and not planning on anorher similar BB pistol ~ if my CP99 can fit it, that's an extra bonus ~
