Hi Guys,
A while ago I was on here with a request for info on a carbine stock for my P1. I received lots of info (thanks) but unfortunately no leads on a reasonably priced stock.
So I decided to make something up myself(still a bit crude but it works very well) I used an adjustable carbine stock for a Glock airsoft pistol and modified it to fit my P1 by making adapter spacers under the grip panels to mate up with it. It's very solid and is adjustable rearward to a couple of positions if you want to use a dot or the iron sights. I plan to do a bit more refining but all in all I think it turned out OK for an expenditure of under $30.
Here it is.

Not quite where I want it but it works well,1/2"- 3/4" groups at 10m standing offhand(if I concentrate) The gun will do one ragged hole rested :D

This is the second time (topic60440) you are mixing up your HW 75 with the HW 45 which flyr has. I understand that you love your HW 75 but the HW 45 is a completely different pistol and more difficult to shoot accurately than the HW 75.

I can tell you one thing though, with the stock collapsed (to get proper eye relief with the 3-9 bug buster) the transfer port and spring are a couple of inches away from your face and you can really tell things are happening when you pull the trigger(not sure if it has something to do with vibration/sound transferred through the stock)

That's a great stock mod for your HW45!

I've been trying to decide on whether I want to try and make a stock for my Beeman P-1 out of wood, and then last month, I saw one of those Glock carbine retractable stocks on eBsy from a seller in Shanghai for total cost of $25 CDN, and I ordered one.

I hadn't decided how I was going to modify it, and your idea is excellent!
Did you make the metal under-grip mounting adapter from sheet metal?

Yes,
I think it was some .080" aluminum.(an old commercial pizza lifter)
You will have to find some longer grip screws if you go the same route as the added .160" makes the factory screws too short.
I think if I were to do it again I might try it with .040" aluminum, I think it would be sturdy enough with the plates on both sides.
Good luck!

Would something like this:

https://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/Smith_We ... Stock/8683

Or this:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tactical-Suppo ... SwIS9b8qdg

Work. And would they be usable on other pistols & revolvers?

The one on ebay that you posted the link to, is the one I used for my P1/HW45(original post),it's also the one that member"spinoza" has ordered.
The grip attachment will have to be modified for the specific pistol you want to use it on.

Thanks for the extra info for making the spacers!
That eBay post is the Glock stock that I bought.
I still have to get a couple of things before I can started.
