Post subject: Importing Optics??

Good Morning,
I’ve been pouring through the vast amount of information on here, and I came across a couple posts suggesting Optics from China through AliExpress. I’m looking at the Diana brand right now.
I’m wondering if anyone has had any problems importing from China,Czech Republic, or Russia into Canada. I know importing from the U.S.A. can be problematic, mostly from the American Export Regulations standpoint.
I’ve tried searching for import information, but it seems complicated to sift through. Any input would be appreciated.

I used Aliexpress too. But never bought a scope from there... Looks you just place your order, pick a shipping method (I like ePocket), and it's done. You only need to wait for the parcel to be dropped on your door...

Alli Express is pretty easy to order from.
However Wes has great deals on scopes!

I just got a UTG Leapers 6-24X50 on Thursday from china through Alli Expess. No problems at all. But it took 3 weeks to arrive. I plan on getting some more. Could not go wrong for $66. to the door. CHEERS!

Beware that most scopes purchased from Aliexpress that have any name brand are usually knock offs . I have purchased a few I the past , nothing wrong with them , they just have some minor differences or blemishes or both .

My last two scopes came from Wes , I was willing to pay for the difference in quality and that’s exactly what I got if not more than my money’s worth .
