The latest word from the WFTF is that the World's this year is postponed. This means everything moves back a year - 2021 with be in South Africa and 2022 will be in the US. Below is the text from the WFTF president, Sergio Rita -

"Dear FT Community,

I would like to inform you about the decision made by the World Field Target Federation related with the spread of the COVID 19 virus and regarding the World Field Target Championship 2021 in South Africa.

According to the recent evolution of the virus, Medical experts predict that South Africa will only reach the apex of our infection in September of 2020, mainly because SA are entering in the winter season.

We also received from the SA organization that it would be extremely difficult to host the WFTC2020.

On the other hand, we already have countries saying that for safety matters will not attend the championship.

Finally, the WFTF is monitoring the situation and following the World Health Care Organization instructions.

Based on all this information, the decision made is to postpone the 2020 Championship. This means SA will host the World FT Championship 2021 and USA 2022.
