Found this site searching the net for a problem with a 3 year old air rifle. My dad has a 177 Crosman shockwave nitro piston air rifle that was working fine last year and when he tried to use it the other day it will no longer lock to load. He has taken it apart with no success in resolving. I’ve done some research on the net with no success. Any one on here have any suggestions or do you know of anyone in the Edmonton Alberta area that works on these air rifles for repair?

Wonder if the bear trap lever is broken? I know on my Summit Ranger NP. One day it wouldn't cock, so took the stock off, and the bear trap lever running from the trigger assembly to barrel assembly, was plastic and snapped.

Or you can try sending it to R&R Airgun Repair in Manitoba, and have him fix it for you.

http://www.randrairgunrepair.com/

He has honest pricing. And if you dissemble the stock, you can save on shipping.
