I think the edges are for hooking the silhouette on near misses.
I was curious too, what a pointed wadcutter looks like...

Uhh... I think it's more like 'domed wadcutter' than pointed wadcutter....

Sorry the pellet is from the benjimen assortment pack it's called a "pointed expanding" pretty much a pointed wad cutter
Heres a picture

Wad cutter and a "pointed expanding" I call them pointed wadcutters....

Pretty similar if u ask me...same shape as the predator polymags.

Exactly, pointed hollow points called "Destroyers" by Crossman. They are a sort-of all-lead version of a "Predator Polymag" pellet.
They have never shot for me in any of my rifles, except not too bad in the HW97 @ 50 feet (16.6yards) - 1 flyer 1/4" out of the group.

[emoji38] heard about how bad the Destroyer shoots many times in these year. However, TBH, I didn't tried it... Thinks it should do a very good destroying jobs when the distance is close enough... At least it looks so...

So, a good plinking tin can killer pellet ?!

That pellet in the picture is called a pointed expanding by benjiman when in there variety pack but ya it's a pointed destroyer.ya the top picture is a wad cutter all I was saying is I call the destroyers pointed wad cutters and the one used on the board shot fine for me up to 52 yards but terrible after that complete corkscrew trajectory.
