Very nice piece indeed. Plinking with rubber ammo would be one of the things that this revolver can be used for. The other is paintball but I think that field rules prohibits 300+ fps from being used, so ya plinking only. How much trouble if us Canadians used it for its intended purpose which is non lethal personal defence. I presume loading it with a rubber steel .50 cal ball would incriminate oneself with the intention of using it for self defense.

From what I understand self-defense is legal in Canada, but the tools used must be proportionate to threat, so that's the catch there.

That said, for plinking, I'd be more interested in the semi-auto glock version.

I just re-watched the video. That bloke has HORRIBLE trigger control - OMG!

Just curious, what is a rubber steel ball?

Good question, it is apparently a hollow rubber ball filled with steel powder. I wasn't aware of this type of weapon on the market, until now. Seems it shoots rubber balls, and filled balls either with powder for a dust explosion effect, pepper for inflicting pain on the target, or steel powder for who knows what purpose. Filled with steel powder I'd imagine they'd be as heavy as lead! (joke of course).

I have a less than lethal gun that shoots rubber or nylon balls. It was modified from a paintball gun. Extended barrel with shroud.

HA! - learn something every day - sometimes.LOL
2.7 grams is only 41.7gr. weight. That is VERY light for a .50 cal ball.
A lead .50 cal ball, in lure lead, will weigh 188gr.
