Thanks! There seems to be some good deals at this place. RWS Meisters in .177cal (500) for $13.95. Crosman .177cal WCs for $4.95 (250).
Great deal on Crosman Phantom rifle (.177/.22). Just for fun I put one in the cart and the total would be $116 shipped. I don't need another B18 but that price is excellent.

My sub-500 .22 phantom came with the short piston and a very weak spring. A simple spring swap gives 700+ fps.
Up-tuning a gas strut usually requires plugging a blind hole in the face of the piston and cutting the 190mm piston or replacing the long piston with a purchased short piston for about $30. The gas strut must be replaced with a full power model. I just did one for a friend. (Yes, he has a PAL) The strut cost a few cents shy of $60. Plug and play will cost you in the neighbourhood of $100. The last time I checked a full power spring cost $14.
If it's detuned in the same manner as mine, a spring swap and a stock swap will produce both a Phantimus and an Optitom. Todd Cooper has a Phantimus.
