Mine is a 22cal polymer grip and stock version.

The carbine style is always my soft spot in my heart... I made my 2240 a carbine... My Chaser a carbine... My PP700 a carbine... Wanted to added a similar shoulder stock on the HW45 too... However just too hard to find such a thing...saw some pictures on the web tho... [emoji38]

And now, I have this Reximex RP carbine!!

Image

As it's actually a same gun, so I don't repeat the good words which I found on mine too again as another good review posted by another fine gentleman here...

It looks like mine was detuned a little bit further (due to the extra shoulder stock?!). I only got about 400fps on 15.89g JSB Exact Jumbo pellets.

I want a little bit more power to about 7fpe (now is just 6fpe), However it's said this has been detuned permanently for Canada and it also looks the power just right to kick my pop cans high in the air not just like my other 177 12fpe rifles that just went through, maybe it's not too bad~ ;)

The standard size muzzle adapter gets well used in my hand to install a very good looking muzzle brake.

250bar air tube gives out nice and consistent shot counts to 70+shots through out the green range for just a 50cc volume.

The 2-stage trigger is not a very light and adjustable match grade trigger but works very well on its job. Trigger adjustment screw right behind the trigger blade looks for adjusting the 1-stage travel only.

The stock is VERY VERY good! Love it very much~ [emoji38]

And the grip fits in the hand very well too~

Another thing owners or potential owners need to be aware is the pistol just too new and so hard I only found the below in deep disassemble videos among all other videos just for an introduction and open box videos... Then maybe issues to get parts too~

https://youtu.be/hX9JYn1Q-GI

In general i like it very much~ :) CSS just doing a good job to be the distributor and brought in such a good gun for us in Canada~

It's an awesome looking piece. Me too, i have become very fond of the carbine/pistol conversion. Can you swap a longer barrel to get back the 80 or so fps missing? Maybe need a special barrel machined.

Yeah.... Lack of any parts you feel interested... :(

Not sure if barrel from other Reximex PCP could fit into the action block or not... It just too new... Not at all good information you can find so far...

Edit...
Yeah, a longer barrel can help for better fps and shot counts for sure... Compare it to my CZ200, it's much louder... I believe that's the sight of wasting air....

Oh.... Forgot the picture when it's in the nice bag comes with the gun!

Image

And Forgot to mention the single shot tray is just a tricky piece to use..... At least when I used it with my stupid fingers, maybe 2/10 times (or maybe just 1/10 times) I can successfully place a pellet in correctly at the first try... Most of the time the pellet rolls into the tray to reach the chamber gets skirts towards the muzzle.... maybe I need a pair of tweezers to load pellet if using the single shot tray?! They should attach it in the box too then~ [emoji38]

The 7 shot mag is very good tho. Loads and indexes very smoothly and accurately. No matter domed or wadcutter pellets.

Hey Yep,

Great review of the Reximex RP Synthetic buddy. I haven't experienced the single-shot loading issues you mentioned however, the right hand pellet loading is a bit of a PITA, as the cocking lever is located on the left. It would be so much easier if the pellets loaded in from the left hand side, so one doesn't have to switch hands for every shot. Whether one is a left-handed or right-handed, it's still involves switching hands to single load, cock and shoot.

For sure the RP / RPA lacks a true match grade trigger, but with mine I at least found the break point quite predictable.

Cheers!

Yep~ agree that the trigger is actually not bad, just not as light as Those 'match grade' one. However on a PCP you don't need to lightly hold the gun to shoot accurately like a springer, and it's clear and predictable so it's a good enough trigger without doubt!

Yeah~ very fun to shoot with the 7 shots mag... Consuming pellets must faster than on my single shot guns... [emoji38]

Nice purchase! If you put a heavier hammer spring in the back you will find it gets much closer to 500fps.
They seem to have put in too light a spring back there. It is very short so a heavier one makes a big difference.

Comparing the RP to my PP700, I found the RP barking much much louder than my PP700 AND shoots about 80fps less...

From the muzzle report, my PP700 sounds shoots at 400ish but actually at 480fps then the RP sounds like shooting at 500fps but actually just 400fps...

I think that means actually the RP is wasting much more air than the PP700?!

And so letting the hammer to hit harder means wasting more air and get even lower efficiency? Need to do more testing to seek a way to tune this PCP... Hopes more owners and those YouTubers figure out it quicker~ :)

My PP has quite a soft report as well. It's only running 428fps, but with a 21.3gr. pellet, though.
I bought it for bunnies, but not allowed here, so it's an indoor pistol for 10M at the local range.

Perhaps the pass through hole at the muzzle end of the RP/A has the effect of amplifying the report as air is escaping at right angles. When I have time, I’ll do another SPL test on both pistols and post the results.

Cheers!
