The monthly match will be held this coming Sunday, the 23rd, since the Provincials on the 16th was rained out and moved to October.

We will offer all six classes plus Junior and responders are asked to state the class they will be participating in. The match fee is still $20 to be paid at the match.

Hunter Division - PCP & Piston
Open Division - PCP & Piston
WFTF Division -PCP & Piston
Junior Division - if there are juniors 16 and under $10

The gates will be open at 8:00 AM for setup and the sighting range will be open from 9:00 AM until 9:45 AM.
Shooter's meeting will take place at 9:45 on the sighting range.

We will head out to the course at 10:00 AM to start the match. We shoot straight through all 60 shots, so please have air on the course if you need it to fill during the match.

Check the forecast and be ready, with appropriate attire, for the conditions. If conditions call for a postponement or cancellation, that information will be sent out, usually on the Friday before the match.

See you Sunday

Tim, Dave and Jeff

We had 13 participants show up for the match that was rescheduled from last week’s cancelled match. Thanks to all that made it on short notice. It was a good day, hot, but Canada in July is almost always hot. We caught a few drops at the end of the match, but the actual rain held off until the trip home. Free car wash.

We had at least one shooter in all six classes and scores have definitely been on the rise this season. Blane pulled off a 104/120 to take top spot in Hunter Piston, followed very closely by Stan. It was great to see Richard T. out shooting with us for this match.

Kim just continues to improve, every match, scoring a very impressive 102/120 this time.

Bill and Andre had a very close result this month, with Bill edging out Andre by a single point. Excellent scores for Open Piston.

Richard O. is still holding down the fort in Open PCP. I hope we can get more shooter in this and a couple of other classes.

Both Denis and John Bradley improved by a shot from last month’s match in the WFTF PCP class. Denis won top spot again this month.

The three shooters in WFTF Piston all shot good scores with Bob posting a 51/60 for top spot, followed closely by Jeff. John is still setting up his rig and I am sure he will be a force to recon with once everything is dialed in.

A big thank you goes out to the GF&GC for the use of the club and the vehicle to transport gear, targets and tools needed for a successful match. Thanks to all that attended, who are always responsible for the good time we have every time we get together.

The next match at Grenville will be on Sunday August 20th, a good prep for the Nationals and do not forget the CAFTA Nationals in the Niagara area on September 16th and 17th. Information about the Nationals will be coming out soon. Take care and keep shooting.
