i finally found a real nice box (at value village) to make this for my colt saa. this was a hard one to do-- but i think it turned out pretty good. originally this was a tea box-- until i got my hands on it.

thanks yep. ya-- i was thinking of doing something like the colt logo maybe-- but i didn,t wan,t to push my luck-- i,m not that good. that coin on top is a one ounce copper-- colt saa coin. i think it will have to do for now.

Yep~ I noticed that coin too and actually was wondering where did you get such a thing to match the nice box and the revolver~

these are 1oz. copper rounds and squares. i got them from colonial acres coins--in kitchener. you can get them off of e-bay too. ya i,d like to see the one you have too.

It's a 25 cents quarter coin published in 2010... Thinking that's for the winter Olympic games in Vancouver?! I found this in my pocket with other coins.... [emoji38] Image

Very nice indeed. Well made presentation boxes like yours is a great way to exhibit a pistol. Unfortunately here in Scotland it would be a wasted project as our Laws require that our guns must be securely locked away when not being used and not to be available to anyone except the certificated owner.
