Yes that's a formidable collection, and it does look like a random toss on the pegboard. Anyhow, looks better than my pegboard.
Do you find the extra long distance between front and rear sights on the 2240XL helps with aiming, as in tighter groups?

Look for Hong Kong sellers of airgun products. Key in your browser to only give you results from Hong Kong, or wherever you find them.

Keywords: FD919 dummy

I have 3 of them. You'll need to make sure you get the right one. They (the ones that made these empty clones) confuse things a bit by sometimes referring to the Glock 19 suppressor (the FD919) as a "FD917 For Glock 19"

Eventually I may put my Glock 19s up for sale. I have 6 clips for each of them and matching FD919s.

What makes them even more fun is that 6 clips is 96 shots with this gun, and that's pretty much a full CO2 capsule.

So I load my pockets with 6 full mags, head out to my backyard range and kill some paper and cans. Once the clips are empty, the C02 is gone too.

It's like I planned it that way. LOL.

That thing came with the 2240 and it looks better than it is. It literally skews my shots. Accuracy is straight down the crapper sad to say.

Thank you.

Sadly NO the extra distance SHOULD give me extra accuracy, but the dummy suppressor, which only serves to extend my sight skews the pellets to the left and down.

I'm tempted to saw that silencer in half to see what the heck its doing. I can print my own and can even tap the screw thread just to get that extra length for the sight.

I dunno. I'm a bit disappointed and lost on this one frankly. After 20 shots, I took off the "silencer" and had better accuracy without a front sight. All of a sudden it was shooting higher and straight.

Weird.

Wish I had a more positive response.

Enough with the silencer thanks

How about the grouping? If only POI moved but still groups well... Then adjust the sights again...

Did you check if any clipping mark found around the muzzle?

Front sight distance, height will also affect the sight picture and move away your POA from original...

There's no clipping, but it's gone. Guns must shoot straight. lol. Took delivery of a PP20 (for parts only) pcp match pistol from CanadaShootingSupply, fixed it up and it shoots like a dream. Talk about grouping! Even my untrained, unskilled, total newb self grouped within 2 inches I would say at 10m. Yes that's awful by 10m standards, but for me it's cause to celebrate.

Back to the Crosman ...

I printed a short but solid barrel extension in place of that mock moderator. It has a large enough bore to not affect anything really. It just took a while to design a snug 1/2x20 thread. I still like the idea of using a cap with sight on the front end. My 1.5mm fiber optic rods are in, so that should help with the front sight reprint that's forthcoming. (Can only really work on this during weekends)

Right now the bigger issue is a gear box / gear train for the adjustable rear sight. I'll be using a pair of 1mm fiber optic rods on that one.

Still love the butt cap idea, but the fixed sight idea was admittedly awful.

I attached what I'm using to replace the dud barrel extension / faux moderator. With a 6mm bore hole, it should offer no FPS increase, nor sound decrease, but more importantly, it shouldn't skew the shots even with the tolerances involved with printing with a low-end 3d printer.

Besides the extension, there's also an image of the front sight with a .75mm radius groove for a 1.5mm fiber optic rod. The 1mm ones are a bit small for front sights.
