Check out this review on airgun 101!!!
I sure don't like his bench technique, but the groups are still pretty good, even at 100yards.

I thought it did OK for the price point.
I watched another .30 cal video yesterday, shooting 80gr. FP slugs from a select fire rifle (full and semi-auto) rifle. It was running over 950fps with those and producing 170 fpe.
Just looked for it and couldn't find it. I think Rick (supported by Pyramid Air) did that video - not sure. He complained about the recoil. Looked to be about the same as a .222 Rem. LOL
That particular rifle would not be allowed into Canada.
My .222 Sako produces 1,200fpe & it's a gopher rifle. Just saying.
found it: Airgun Web Media Group
BTW - his bench technique is very poor as well. His left hand should be supporting the butt of the rifle on or at his shoulder, not holding the bi-pod. He is also a trigger-jerker.
Supporting the butt at your shoulder, gives stability to the butt stock, when not using a double bag situation.
The fellow above in the other video, jerks the trigger, not squeezing it.

Just for some perspective on FPE, my Condor, at a low setting of 4/10 out of a max of 13/17 on the hammer spring adjuster, does 65.3fpe with 25.39 pellets and 93fpe with 51gr. cast slugs.
At the setting of 8/10, those 25.39gr. pellets are running 1,137fps for 73fpe. I have not tried higher settings with the cast slugs - yet.

2 Canadian dealers had the Gauntlet 30 cal for a while now sold out. It has some good numbers (100 to 110 FPE stock) and was in the $630 price range. I passed on it, but wish now I purchased one.

That was my understanding as well, Robert. However, at it's price point, not too bad.
