Moving blankets are pretty good at stopping 800fps or less at a reasonable distance i figure. They also transport well and can be made to look better with a simple sewing job and some material of your choice..

Those 1"x2"x6" putty bricks from HD can hold well to high power PCP's as well, but after some time will get very heavy. I could never figure how to separate the lead for reuse.
