There are other leather products that are not as expensive as Neetsfoot Oil. That oil is what I/we started using when
kids, on baseball gloves.
I also use it as an all-weather patch lube in my muzzleloading rifles, for hunting.

The performance hybrid whip from Christopher Wright of X1 whips came in today.

Just from having unpacked it I can already tell the massive upgrade in quality and build over the cheap Amazon whip.

Looks good.
I had one as a kid, my father did a lot of business in Mexico and brought me back a leather bull whip. I got so that I could crack it very consistently. Daryl was right on though, can be dangerous until you get a good technique.
