Man this thing is right. I hit it on the noggin the day I first tried it in the 80s ..
I like the way it makes me feel ,
So I bought two , one in each caliber and one to be with open sights only. Soon..
This reticle lights up red or green the cross only in the center. Genius air rifle scope.
Highest I got was JSBs 8.44s (.177cal) consistently shot at 785s fps the highest was 789 fps but the shot a string of 4 around 785fps
I am surprised at how smooth the cocking is and the firing cycle is nice after a few shots you don't here the spring any more at all ... kinda neat. My trigger as always gets fitted in there the extra-setback Rowan triggers ... Helps the wrist position in your marksmanship. Anyone who doesn't use them , has very long fingers.
But ya .... my all time favorite .. coined by me, " The TX100 Air Arms should of Made. "
Captain Air , enjoy a few shots ...
P.S. With me it one holes 3 shots off hand standing in bad light . Same hole ...

Warms my heart to hear (read) of your happiness, but pictures would make it feel more real to me.
... And I got to get me some of whatever happy juice you're on (Or do I just need a HW57?) :drinkers:

The set-back triggers are very interesting. I've left the triggers on my HS97's as they came from the factory.
Just out of curiosity, I measured my trigger finger and from the web, it's only 3 3/8" long.
The one beside it is 4" long. :drinkers:

I had the pleasure to handle one many years ago, and examine the pop up loading port. It's similar in some ways to the Norica Quick. Sadly the only ones I could see to purchase were .177 cal in non-PAL and I'm partial myself to .22 cal so I didn't get either. You have nice specimens - presumably .177 and .22 cal?

Hi Dukemeister and Daryl !

It was a blast reading your comments lol.
Yes I have the 2 calibers but waiting for the .22cal version.
I believe they are the base line of authentic air guns because they always were and should be today light.
Air guns are way to heavy pcps too compared to powder guns. They should be like the HW57 , very light at 6 pounds short so easy to maneuver in the woods and super hot being built by a legendary gun company...ya
The Rowan trigger is a must for HW guns unless you're a giant. That's just conmen sense, the rake is all wrong etc.
As for feel and let off , I enjoy the stock trigger being thinner and grooved ... gives better feel..
Well , I hope you guys buy one in .177cal first (more zippy) because it's a blast zipping across your range like a tuned TX like man ya ...
Cheers ,
Captain Air
