Hello all,

I added to my air gun family with the purchase of an Umarex Ruger 10/22 for target and can/water bottle backyard fun without making my neighbors cranky (have a Ruger 10/22 Midnight Camo, Blued Barrel, BX trigger and considering optics now for the range and farm)

So far I have shot about 250-300 pellets of different gr's and shapes, unlike a real 10/22 which could care less of the type of ammo used (a big cheap pail from Cabela's its loves), the pellet version is a little fussy with what I use, which results in a few misfires, mainly in semi-auto. mode but much better in single shot.
A few You tube reviews mention this also.
Also installing 2 C02's is bit scary at first until getting the feel how much to crank down!

I really like this air rifle, its crazy accurate, fun to shoot and looks great on the bench!, Happy with my purchase.

Once it stops raining, out for more plinking!

It's nice to hear about your owner's satisfaction! We don't hear much about them CO2 10/22s, which I find a bit sad. These Umarex replicas are underrated I believe, they're accurate and reliable unlike many other replicas.

I have one of these fine CO2 rifle and love it too , IMHO one of the finest backyard plinkers around. They're very well built, much better than the Crosman 1077 I think. The UX 10/22 can use a little tuning though, so I did that and the trigger, bolt and mag are now operating very smoothly in SA or DA. My rifle seems to prefer JSB Exact RS 7.33 gr. domed pellets, but is also accurate with a few others.

OEM Ruger accessories do fit like on the ''real'' rifle, and I added a few: a Weaver rail with Burris rings and Simmons scope, and a branded sling and soft gun case (see pic). The gun case has pockets that are handy for the mags and CO2 cartridges .

Yeah... When this 10/22 came out, I actually wanted to get one too... But after reading the reviews, I hesitated... And I don't think I have any room for it in the house now...

Thanks for the info, I will do a search for tuning tips, once the weather warms up, I am going to test more pellets, it seems to like lighter pellets, 7.0 - 7.5gr range.
It is kinda cool that real 10/22 stuff fits the air rifle version, I need to avoid Cabela's for a bit
