I've been looking for a pistol to do some indoor shooting over the up coming winter months.... one that would complement the others I already have....something that was off the beaten path .....by that i mean a unique, vintage or collectable air pistol that could be used with little fear of it falling apart...should shoot around 400FPS .22Cal. and must be accurate..........This is exactly what I found while surfing within this forum......after the _101_ Questions.....this gun came recommended by MrMarvin.............A gun actually made by Smith and Wesson that you may or may not have seen or heard much of.....thanks to the fellow the we all know from the *members only* section of the forum as MrMarvin, I was fortunate enough to add this one to my collection of goodies.....It's a 78G .22Cal. CO2 pistol....It's amazingly accurate and a lot of fun to shoot....it has good weight and feel.....using 12g powerlets it gets around 45 shots on high power setting and 70+ on low power setting....that's to say there's two cocking positions on this gun.....it was made in Springfield, Mass., USA....1974.......single shot ....adjustable rear sight for both windage and elevation ...adjustable power setting via a screw up front just underneath the barrel and a very sweet trigger.....A very consistent shooter with a predictably crisp release ...anyone interested in such a gun might do well by contacting MrMarvin .....

Thanks MrMarvin....I love this gun.....

Hello everyone...my name is Parker and I'm here today because I'm addicted to air guns.....It began with the soft stuff ...you know the .177Cal.....not long after that I started using the .20Cal....then the .22Cal.....now I hear about those .25Cal. that might be available here soon......Where does it all lead???...........Oh yea!!!...It leads to a whole lot of fun!!!........that's why we're here....enjoy!!!..... :D

Parker_101_,

Congratulations with S&W ..... looks very cool, reminds me the Mark1.

Don't worry you're not alone being an airgun addict, so does everybody else here. I go nuts when one week without any shipment of somekind to do with airguns.
