Hi. I really want this gun. The highest i would go is 125 shipped. unless brand new in box then 150 shipped. If you have the co2 one let me know, as it has to be .22 crows actually go after my pug puppies and i gotta take care of them. either i get this or invest in a baseball bat :S thanks for looking.

Does it Have to be that exact gun, cause you can get a crosman 2240 for a lot less and its highly customizable, the mods are pretty much endless and it's bolt action co2 powered. But if it has to be that gun then LeBaron is the cheapest place for $180 NIB + tax and shipping http://www.lebaron.ca/pdf_files_sp07/ou ... njamin.pdf

...Get a 2289,steel breach, and a 2260 24" barrel.Plug the bleed hole in the valve. This combo will be whisper quiet, and the crows will drop like flies at 25yrds  !Walter

Why do you need a handgun? Cuz if you are willing to do 150, a Crosman 2289 would work great, spend the last couple bucks on some intermounts and a cheap scope, that way you could get them from much farther away.

Thanks for all the responses. The backpacker looks like the smart choice for now... I thought I'd like the Benjamin better b/c i thought it would be better quality. and I cam to a sad realization. the backpacker is only 119 at Canadian tire, and if i was to get it through an online dealer, It would be about the same!!!

I had a Benjiman HB22 and couldn't wait to get rid of it.Creepy, gritty trigger, mediocre accuracy, and hard to pump.Maybe the old ones are good quality but not mine.

I had the CO2 one and boy, that thing is really a gas hog....... 10 rounds per CO2 cartridge..... I 100% don't recommend it unless you have the money or the time.....
