Hello everyone, it's been awhile since my last post, but I have a couple of questions to ask.

If you had read my previous posts, you would understand that I had found a perfectly preserved 2289 in my closet, save the dried out and chewed up O-Rings.

Well, I'm putting in an order for those O-Rings today, and I thought that it might be wise to purchase different parts for my 2289 while I was at it. I was thinking of buying the 24 inch barrel, and the steel breech so I am able to mount a scope without too much hassle.

Are these two products a worthwhile buy? I've read mixed comments on both, so I was wondering if it's worth the money.

Also, any other suggestions for standard mods that I shouldn't be without would be appreciated (I am completely new to the whole modding scene, so please don't fail to overlook small steps or parts that would be needed, that would just be common sense to you guys :D ).

Defanitly get the steel breech, I'd stick with the 14" barrel though, so much more portable with it... And a scope. Some power mods and you're ready to roll.

Alright, thanks for the comments guys. I ordered my o-rings and the steel breech yesterday, but have yet to see a confirmation email yet. So I'm hoping they'll be here soon.
