I was looking at a deactivated Uzi whose barrel was filled with steel and bolt welded shut. I thought it would be a cool thing to have. Then I noticed they wanted $800 for it.
A friend has a molested Sten. I'm guessing a mass deactivation.. It's completely full of holes from cutting torches. Still neat to look at though.

I would love to have a cabinet with some otherwise illegal mock/deactivated firearms in. They are usually way too expensive around here for me. I would rather have functional firearms for the prices they are asking.

There's a Guy here that does this legally, and all he does is weld these pieces so as they won't operate anymore, and worthless. And I mean totally ie: Welds Hammers shut, Break Open type S.G.'s early 1869--1900. You've got to watch who you take them to because some of these guys mangle the Guns so bad and make it SO obvious it ruins the look of the piece. Then theres guy's who do a very good job, and take there time. Whats used is a type of stick welder, very small stick 3/32" if I'm remembering correct. I wittnessed this once, and I almost threw up. This guy I was watching did n't fill the Barrel with anything at all. But this was almost 20-years ago. And then they Blue the welds up good:shock:

Krazy Mike...
