 Post subject: 150 frame repaint

Part of a Crosman 150 restoration....trying to match the grip frame finish. I stripped of the old, cleaned the surface, applied the paint coats and let dry to the touch. Then baked it at 300 F, for 2 hours. The finish is the result of a lot of trial and error. It has two specific types of paint coats.

Yep...textured, but the original is more of a wrinkle finish.

If you dont mind, what paint did you use? Im making a wire stock and want it black. I was going to blue it, but your way looks perfect.
