hey i was thinking about getting a Sumatra 2500 and by reading a bunch of posts it seems like you need a PAL license or something and i was wondering 1. if anyone knows somewhere near victoria or naniamo where i could get the sumatra? and 2. if i can get a PAL cuz im only 14?

You best bet to legally having this airgun in your house would be to get your father to purchase it and then you and him can go and target shoot together. If you don't have a PAL and you live in canada your not going to be able to legaly obtain a Sumatra 2500. I believe the minimum age for obtaining a PAL license is eighteen but you can take the hunter and safety course at fifteen.

thanks that sounds like a good idea. Have any online stores that will ship a sumatra here? and will it get siezed at the border, if its from the states?

Uhh its not 15 its 12.

Inless its different in other provinces.

You can also get a minor's firearms license at age 12 that allows you to possess but not acquire firearms. You'd still need someone 18 or older to obtain a PAL in order to purchase and own the rifle. You could then use it without supervision if you obtained a minor's license.
