i am definately going to be shooting in this type of competition (hunter) i have a bam b4 .177 and i am shooting one holers at 10 meters, is there a fps limit on the guns?

20 foot pounds of energy is the limit (thats like shooting a 7.9g pellet at 1070fps over a chrony), so likely you won't have a problem.

Hope to see you at some of the 2008 matches shooting in the new "Hunter" division!

gammawolf, you might find that your pellets although are tracking straight at 10 meters will change their line of travel at 20 and beyond....

You may have to look into either a scope stop or one piece mounts. Both can be ordered from a few places like D&L Airguns and Air Gun Source. There are more, but these are two I know have them.

If you scroll right to the very bottom there is a Gamo Scope Stop for $6.
