It's a USFT and they have a following in the sport. Very high marks for ergonomics and accuracy but low scores on looks. Actually the more I'm around them, the better looking they become to me...and that's without the consumption of any alcohol!

Here is a picture I took while at the 2007 US FT Nationals.

Those who were using the USFT all gathered for a picture. I quickly snapped this picture.

Paul Cray also won the 2007 US Nationals using his USFT. A USA build dedicated Field Target airgun.

I hope you get to shoot one some day. For some reason the looks change when you get some time behind the trigger. In addition to the USFT, I have one of the original SS/ld guns and ld did not even polish the machine marks off of it. I haven't and will not pretty it up at all. It is unfinished aluminum for most of it, stainless steel bolts holding the barrel block and action together, hardened steel for the trigger bits and an HW, blued barrel. Nothing unnecessary, but everything high quality and bullet proof tuff.

You can see it on Canshooter's post "Post your FT pics here" I think it is the only pic in his third post.

Tim

Mac,

I would love to try one someday, (I will be back over in the summer if someone fancys meeting up...hint...hint... ) and I don't doubt that they shoot better than me... Still ugly though

Could just be me, but I like a gun to look like a gun, guess I'm a bit old school.

Does it look like you will be here in Canada when one of our matches are being held?

If so, remember my offer for you to use one of my guns. I'm sure Mac will let you take the LD for a run too!

Yup, still got your numbers and will give you a shout before I come over, see if you need anything brought over (well, anything I will be able to bring over legally).

Found a nice wee pub last time I was there, on Yonge... think it was the Zanzibar  :D

Thanks mate
